THE STORY SO FAR
After managing family stores in Australia, supplied by their own factories in Java, Simon was determined to bring a an original collection of this beautiful handcrafted solid wood furniture home to New Zealand. From humble beginnings in a basement in Newmarket the company has emerged into the sunlight with high profile stores in Broadway Newmarket & Link Drive Wairau Park. However we still retain that comforting feel of a small privately owned business.
You wont get that impersonal corporate style treatment from us, because our staff are as creative, good humored & genuine as they are dedicated.

ABOUT THE TIMBER
We use natural solid wood sourced with the environment in mind. Our exclusive designs are handcrafted in Java with timber supplied by the Indonesian Forestry Department from Government managed plantations, who ensure all timber in our furniture is sourced responsibly, legally & with respect for the environment.
Staff in all our factories are well cared for, have meals provided & are paid well above the going rate.
The finish is user friendly, achieved using wood stain, shellac & polish for protection.
